The Leiden University Centre for the Study of Islam and Society (LUCIS) wanted to emphasise on the ‘passion’ and expertise that is present among the various people that work at the University.

During the lead-up to this year’s academic year, we interviewed various professors and PhD candidates on their inspirations and motivations. The films have been aired on the annual LUCIS congress regarding the Middle–East and distributed online.
